Postcards of Devon

In a new departure for me I have produced postcards of Bovey Tracey and nearby areas of Dartmoor, Devon.
 
Photographing Bovey Tracey is not easy.  The town centre is not exactly picturesque so it has taken some time and effort to take and choose the images that will appear on the five cards. Two individual cards are of Bovey Tracey itself,  the Riverside Mill and nearby Summerhouse Lane houses, whilst two others are of nearby Dartmoor attractions, namely Haytor and Bowerman’s Nose.  The fifth card is a multiple of four views in and around the town.  It will be interesting to see which sells best.
 
I was asked to produce them by Bovey Tracey Tourist Information centre.  Whilst doing the shoot I inevitably came across photos that made good photos but were not postcard material.  So again having been asked by the tourist information office I will make them into high quality greetings cards.
 
If the postcards go well I may produce more cards of other areas of Devon and Dartmoor.  Likewise, if the Greetings cards start selling I will produce a wider choise of them.
